Minutes of the Finance and Advisory Board
February 8, 2005
Meeting Called to Order at: 7:00pm
Location: Town Hall -2nd floor meeting room
Members In Attendance: Jim Lacey, Reg Tardif, Walter Clemons, Bob Melideo, Peter Dion, Sandy Gerraughty, Ruth Stewart, Mike Sweat, Robin O’Malley

Steve Delaney presented the Budget Draft for FY06. The theme is “Fiscal Discipline”
Peter Dion gave an overview of the School Building Committee.
At this time, the departments wanting to meet with Fin Comm in regards to their FY06 budget are: Assessors and ZBA.
Steve Delaney will e-mail departments to ask who would like to meet with the Fin Comm in regards to the FY06 budgets.
It was decided that the Fin Comm would review the draft budget and meet again on 2/22/05. Steve D. will answer any of our questions in more detail at that time after our review.
Motion to approve deficit spending on the Snow and Ice Account.

Steve gave us the update on the house at 130 North Street with the rodent issues. Board of Health had an official vote to condemn and demolish the building(s). The town is going to court to receive a ruling in favor of the demo. The cost to the town will be covered by the lien on the building.
